Tuesday Sept. 25: Welcome to Germany! Check-in to your contemporary hotel, meet your Tour Managers, then join your fellow travelers for a walking tour of Munich's Old Town. Your tour manager will introduce you to Munich's superb transit system and then walk you from the hotel to the Oktoberfest. Afterward, why not head over to the Wiesnzelt am Stiglmaierplatz where you can dance the night away?
Wednesday Sept. 26: Be sure to check out the Bavarian Agricultural Festival, Celebrating its 125th anniversary at the Oktoberfest. You'll be able to watch old-style horse racing and sample amazing food from local farmers. The agricultural festival only happens once every four years at the southern end of Oktoberfest. Your Oktoberfest Beer Tent Reservation will be today or tomorrow, depending on availability. (B,D)
Thursday Sept. 27: If your tent reservation was yesterday, you have all of today to spend at your leisure, perhaps by renting a bicycle and exploring the Bavarian capital on two wheels, or joining a tour to learn more about Munich's dark past when Hitler's Third Reich tried to take over the world. Or leave the hustle and bustle of the city and take a fascinating day-trip by train to the gorgeous Bavarian Alps for a tour of King Ludwig II's fairy-tale castle, Neuschwanstein. (B)
Friday Sept. 28: It's time to say Auf Wiedersehen to Munich as your tour comes to an end after breakfast. (B)
